Hinterland Pools is a family-owned business, located in the rolling green hills and crystal blue beaches of the Northern Rivers region of NSW. David and Vanessa Clay have built a dedicated team of pool professionals and enthusiasts to support the local pool-loving community from Byron Bay, across to Kyogle and Casino, on the plateau at Alstonville and Wollongbar, and south the Yamba and Grafton. 

David has over 20 years’ experience in the pool industry. Since moving to the Northern Rivers, he has been providing maintenance services since 2016, expanding into pool and spa construction, and opening their first pool supplies shop in 2023. In 2025, they relocated their shop to the Alstonville Plaza to be more centrally located to their customer base across the region. 

With more than 300 maintenance customers and over a dozen custom concrete and fibreglass shell builds in the region, David brings a wealth of knowledge and experience.
